Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe your style?

My approach is natural, relaxed, and documentary led.

I focus on capturing the day as it actually happens, rather than directing or staging moments. Most of the time you won’t even notice I’m there, which allows everything to unfold naturally.

For couple portraits, I’ll give a bit of gentle guidance so you’re not left wondering what to do, but nothing will ever feel forced or overly posed.

We’re a bit awkward in front of the camera, is that a problem?

Not at all, most couples say this.

You don’t need to be “good at photos” or know what to do. I keep things really relaxed and simple so you can just be yourselves.

Within a few minutes, most people forget the camera is even there, and that’s when the best, most natural moments happen.

Do you pose us at all?

Only when it’s helpful.

For most of the day, I work in a documentary way, capturing real moments as they happen.

During couple portraits, I’ll guide you into natural situations rather than stiff poses, so it still feels like you, not a photoshoot.

How many photos will we receive?

Typically, you’ll receive around 400–600 carefully edited images from a full day.

I focus on quality over quantity, so everything you receive is something worth keeping, not just filler.

When will we get our photos?

Your full gallery is usually delivered within 4–6 weeks.

I know how exciting it is to see them, so I also send a small preview shortly after the wedding so you’ve got something to look back on straight away.

How do we book you?

Once you’ve checked availability, I’ll send over everything you need.

To secure your date, I just require a signed agreement and a booking fee. After that, your date is fully locked in.

Can we meet before booking?

Of course.

We can have a quick call or video chat so you can ask any questions and make sure I’m the right fit for you.

Do you offer engagement shoots?

Yes, these can be added to your coverage.

They’re a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding, and most couples find it really helps them feel more relaxed on the day.

What happens if it rains?

Honestly, some of the best moments happen in “bad” weather.

I always adapt to whatever the day brings, and we’ll still create something that feels natural and true to your wedding, whatever the conditions.
